Curiosity Open Competition

While at the competition this past Saturday, October 26th, 2019, the Steel Stingers placed 3rd against 17 teams. The competition was exciting for the team as they said  “they were the most energetic”. A few complications arose including a chain falling off, and having the circuit overheat- resulting in us getting eliminated in the semi-finals. The Steel Stingers made it as captain of alliance two, something that’s only happened 3 times before. Team 2603 had a lot of fun, including doing the cupid shuffle, which they got recognized for doing. Being able to see all of the different robots was interesting, but seeing ours place 3rd filled our team with pride. Overall, it was a good experience for everyone involved and we can’t wait for the next competition.
